Our head coach, ALEX VARBANOV has devoted over 35 years to the sport of Olympic Weightlifting and has built a strong reputation of a weightlifting professional.
NIKI VARBANOV is a son of his dad. At the age of 18, he's already five time Canadian Junior Champion in three different categories
Weightlifting is one of the oldest sport activities practiced from ancient times (Old Greece, Rome, and China).
The late 1800’s are considered the beginning of modern weightlifting. Nowadays, it is one of the most competitive summer Olympic sports in the world.
Full (2-hour) Training Session. Additional person may join for 25% off (no more than 2 people!)
One-hour private training session. The focus will be on improving a single lift, or major technical flaw
Written Training Program. Alex will design a written program for up to 8-10 weeks for you
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 6:30 – 8:30/9:00 p.m. (coach Alex Varbanov)
Monday & Wednesday 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (coach Nick Varbanov)
Saturday – 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
(coach Nick Varbanov)
Monday to Friday at 6:30 p.m.
These are group sessions, great for people with some weightlifting experience and looking for a little more technique work.
